TGG Sports Platform Signs Hong Kong’s First Professional Pickleball Players

TGG Holdings is proud to announce a landmark moment for Hong Kong sport with the signing of the city’s first cohort of professional pickleball players under its sports investment platform.

In partnership with TLP Dalian Pai Pickleball Club, three elite athletes – Ryan Lam Chun-hei, Agnes Fung Pui-long and Nikita Tang Nok-yiu – have signed as Hong Kong’s first professional pickleball players. Each has already achieved strong international results and will now compete under a professional structure with dedicated support, training and competition schedules.

At the signing ceremony, the players expressed their honour at becoming the first professionals in this fast-growing sport in Hong Kong and committed to giving their all to deliver results for both club and city. Their ambition is not only to win titles, but also to raise awareness of pickleball and inspire more local athletes to pursue the game seriously.

As part of this strategic push, TGG and TLP are co-organising the WPC World Pickleball Championships – Hong Kong stop, to be held in Discovery Bay from 5–7 December. The event will welcome top regional and international players, further strengthening Hong Kong’s positioning as a global sports hub and an emerging centre for professional pickleball.

This milestone reflects TGG’s belief in the long-term potential of pickleball as a professional and commercial sport. By backing a cohort of high-calibre athletes and supporting major events on home soil, TGG aims to help build a sustainable pathway from grassroots participation to elite performance for Hong Kong’s next generation of players.
